Approximately 30 cm x 30 cm, this petite table mat shows the classic jaldar look with angular diamond guls arranged in rows and a neat bordered frame. Its compact size makes it ideal on a side or coffee table, bedside table, or entry console to add patterned interest indoors.

Jaldar rugs feature a very soft and luxurious pile, and are commonly woven in Pakistan. They can easily be confused with Pakistani Bokhara rugs, which have a very similar construction and feel. Jaldar, however, feature more angular, diamond shaped guls, as opposed to the more rounded guls found on Bokhara.
