This small piece measures approximately 65 cm by 45 cm and features the classic bokhara layout with repeating gul medallions and neat geometric borders in complementary tones. Its compact size makes it ideal as an accent in an entryway, beside the bed, at a desk, or under a plant stand.

These rugs are named after the Bokhara (also spelt Bukhara) region in Uzbekistan. The design features a repeated geometric design, often referred to as the elephant print. The design shares many similarities with the Turkoman 'Tekke' design. Modern Bokhara rugs are commonly hand woven in Pakistan, and feature soft and luxurious pile.
