A compact Bokhara rug (approx. 60 x 40 cm) featuring the classic repeating ‘elephant foot’ guls and geometric borders on a blue field with contrasting light and dark accents. Its small size makes it ideal as an indoor accent by the bedside, on a desk or dresser, or under a plant stand.

These rugs are named after the Bokhara (also spelt Bukhara) region in Uzbekistan. The design features a repeated geometric design, often referred to as the elephant print. The design shares many similarities with the Turkoman 'Tekke' design. Modern Bokhara rugs are commonly hand woven in Pakistan, and feature soft and luxurious pile.
