Approximately 60 cm x 40 cm, this small rug features a classic Jaldar pattern with repeating diamond guls and a tidy geometric border in rich red with light highlights. Its compact size makes it ideal as an accent by a doorway, beside a bed, or under a small side table in a hallway or study.

Jaldar rugs feature a very soft and luxurious pile, and are commonly woven in Pakistan. They can easily be confused with Pakistani Bokhara rugs, which have a very similar construction and feel. Jaldar, however, feature more angular, diamond shaped guls, as opposed to the more rounded guls found on Bokhara.
