This compact rug (approx. 91 cm x 61 cm) features a classic kazak layout with bold geometric medallions, hook motifs, and a stepped border. A red ground is balanced by cream and blue detailing with small yellow highlights, creating a lively, traditional look. Its small size makes it ideal for an entryway, beside a bed, or under a side table in a living room.

Named after the city of Kazak (also spelt Qazax) in modern-day Azerbaijan, Kazak rugs feature distinctive geometric patterns, and are often red, cream, blue or gold in colour. Super Kazak rugs utilize similar designs, but are constructed with superior pile and a finer finish. Kazak rugs knotted in Afghanistan are often referred to as Afghan Ghazni.
