Approximately 88 x 60 cm, this small kazak-style rug features crisp geometric motifs and strong border work in contrasting tones. Its compact size makes it a great accent for an entryway.

Named after the city of Kazak (also spelt Qazax) in modern-day Azerbaijan, Kazak rugs feature distinctive geometric patterns, and are often red, cream, blue or gold in colour. Super Kazak rugs utilize similar designs, but are constructed with superior pile and a finer finish. Kazak rugs knotted in Afghanistan are often referred to as Afghan Ghazni.
