This compact rug measures approximately 119 cm by 105 cm. It displays classic khurjeen-style stripes and small geometric panels arranged in bands, rendered in a lively multi-colour palette. Its petite size makes it well suited to an entryway, beside a bed, or as a bright accent in a reading nook or home office.

Khurjeen (also spelt Khorjeen) translates to 'saddle bag' in the Farsi language. Khurjeen rugs often utilisize the same geometric, striped patterns as what were used on saddle bags. Crafted with high quality hand-spun wool by the Turkmen and Hazara tribes in central/northern Afghanistan, and coloured with natural dyes, these rugs are beautfully intricate and sure to bring energy and colour into your space!
