Approximately 143 x 102 cm, this kazak-style rug shows a bold red field with crisp geometric medallions and borders accented in cream, blue, and yellow. Its compact size makes it perfect for an entryway.

Named after the city of Kazak (also spelt Qazax) in modern-day Azerbaijan, Kazak rugs feature distinctive geometric patterns, and are often red, cream, blue or gold in colour. Super Kazak rugs utilize similar designs, but are constructed with superior pile and a finer finish. Kazak rugs knotted in Afghanistan are often referred to as Afghan Ghazni.
