Approximately 148 cm x 100 cm, this piece features a classic kazak layout with bold geometric motifs and bordered patterns on a rich red field, accented with cream, blue and yellow details. Its compact size makes it well suited for an entryway.

Named after the city of Kazak (also spelt Qazax) in modern-day Azerbaijan, Kazak rugs feature distinctive geometric patterns, and are often red, cream, blue or gold in colour. Super Kazak rugs utilize similar designs, but are constructed with superior pile and a finer finish. Kazak rugs knotted in Afghanistan are often referred to as Afghan Ghazni.
