Approx. 191 x 120 cm, this rug shows a bold geometric layout with central medallions and stepped motifs on a red ground, framed by patterned borders and highlighted with cream, blue, and yellow accents. Its medium size suits an entryway, beside a bed, or a small living area or home office.

Named after the city of Kazak (also spelt Qazax) in modern-day Azerbaijan, Kazak rugs feature distinctive geometric patterns, and are often red, cream, blue or gold in colour. Super Kazak rugs utilize similar designs, but are constructed with superior pile and a finer finish. Kazak rugs knotted in Afghanistan are often referred to as Afghan Ghazni.
