Approximately 199 x 146 cm, this piece features a classic gabbeh layout with a plain field and a few small, nature-inspired or geometric motifs for a clean, minimalist look. Its understated palette and simple pattern make it well suited to a living room or medium bedroom, fitting neatly beneath a coffee table or at the foot of a bed.

Gabbeh rugs are traditionally nomadic rugs, and feature very simple designs and patterns, often inspired by nature. It is not uncommon to see animals, people and trees scattered across these designs. The name 'Gabbeh' comes from the Persian word for raw/natural/uncut, and reflects the thick pile that these rugs traditionally featured. We sell Gabbeh rugs from a range of countries, including Iran, Afghanistan and India, with piles ranging from approximately 8mm up to 25mm thick!
