Approximately 188 cm x 127 cm, this rug features the classic jaldar layout with rows of angular diamond guls on a rich red field, framed by a contrasting cream border with fine geometric details and subtle black accents. Its mid-size footprint makes it ideal under a coffee table to define a living-room seating area.

Jaldar rugs feature a very soft and luxurious pile, and are commonly woven in Pakistan. They can easily be confused with Pakistani Bokhara rugs, which have a very similar construction and feel. Jaldar, however, feature more angular, diamond shaped guls, as opposed to the more rounded guls found on Bokhara. This particular rug also features a 'silk touch' - some of the design highlights are silk pile.
