This slender runner, approximately 298 cm x 82 cm, showcases a geometric shirvan-style pattern with repeating medallions and motifs on a cream ground, highlighted by red and blue accents. Its narrow proportions make it well suited for a hallway, entryway, or along a kitchen galley.

Shirvan (also spelt Shervan, Sherwan) is the name of a city in the Caucasus region, now modern-day Azerbaijan. Shirvan carpets feature geometric designs, similar to the Kazak and Super Kazak family. This rug was constructed by master rug-makers in Afghanistan, and is inspired by the Shirvan rugs of the Caucasus.
