Khurjeen (also spelt Khorjeen) translates to 'saddle bag' in the Farsi language. Khurjeen rugs often utilisize the same geometric, striped patterns as what were used on saddle bags. Crafted with high quality hand-spun wool by the Turkmen and Hazara tribes in central/northern Afghanistan, and coloured with natural dyes, these rugs are beautfully intricate and sure to bring energy and colour into your space!
