Approximately 227 cm x 152 cm, this rug features the classic jaldar arrangement of repeating diamond-shaped guls within a neatly framed border. The rich red field is highlighted with cream and black accents, giving it a crisp, geometric look. This versatile mid-size is well suited to a living room seating area, a bedroom, or a home office.

Jaldar rugs feature a very soft and luxurious pile, and are commonly woven in Pakistan. They can easily be confused with Pakistani Bokhara rugs, which have a very similar construction and feel. Jaldar, however, feature more angular, diamond shaped guls, as opposed to the more rounded guls found on Bokhara. This particular rug also features a 'silk touch' - some of the design highlights are silk pile.
