Approximately 228 cm x 153 cm, this rug showcases a classic jaldar layout with repeating diamond guls and a detailed border, set on a rich red ground with cream, black, and brown accents. Its medium size suits a living room seating area, under a coffee table, or beside a bed in a bedroom.

Jaldar rugs feature a very soft and luxurious pile, and are commonly woven in Pakistan. They can easily be confused with Pakistani Bokhara rugs, which have a very similar construction and feel. Jaldar, however, feature more angular, diamond shaped guls, as opposed to the more rounded guls found on Bokhara. This particular rug also features a 'silk touch' - some of the design highlights are silk pile.
