Approximately 238 x 157 cm, this gabbeh-style piece features a plain beige field with simple, minimalist motifs in red, blue and green. Its medium size makes it well-suited for a living room under a coffee table or in a bedroom beside the bed.

Gabbeh rugs are traditionally nomadic rugs, and feature very simple designs and patterns, often inspired by nature. It is not uncommon to see animals, people and trees scattered across these designs. The name 'Gabbeh' comes from the Persian word for raw/natural/uncut, and reflects the thick pile that these rugs traditionally featured. We sell Gabbeh rugs from a range of countries, including Iran, Afghanistan and India, with piles ranging from approximately 8mm up to 25mm thick!
