Approximately 264 x 142 cm, this gabbeh features a clean cream field with minimalist, nature-inspired motifs and subtle tonal variations for a calm, understated look. Its long rectangular size makes it well suited to a living room under a coffee table, an entryway, or alongside a bed in a bedroom.

Gabbeh rugs are traditionally nomadic rugs, and feature very simple designs and patterns, often inspired by nature. It is not uncommon to see animals, people and trees scattered across these designs. The name 'Gabbeh' comes from the Persian word for raw/natural/uncut, and reflects the thick pile that these rugs traditionally featured. We sell Gabbeh rugs from a range of countries, including Iran, Afghanistan and India, with piles ranging from approximately 8mm up to 25mm thick!
