Approximately 239 x 154 cm, this bokhara rug features a rich red field with repeating geometric ‘elephant print’ motifs and framed borders accented in black and white. Its medium size suits a living room under a coffee table, a bedroom alongside the bed, or a study.

These rugs are named after the Bokhara (also spelt Bukhara) region in Uzbekistan. The design features a repeated geometric design, often referred to as the elephant print. The design shares many similarities with the Turkoman 'Tekke' design. Modern Bokhara rugs are commonly hand woven in Pakistan, and feature soft and luxurious pile.
