Approximately 237 x 152 cm, this gabbeh rug features a simple, understated design with subtle striping in warm brown tones. Its clean, minimal look makes it a versatile piece for a living room, bedroom, or home office, adding gentle warmth without overpowering the space.

Gabbeh rugs are traditionally nomadic rugs, and feature very simple designs and patterns, often inspired by nature. It is not uncommon to see animals, people and trees scattered across these designs. The name 'Gabbeh' comes from the Persian word for raw/natural/uncut, and reflects the thick pile that these rugs traditionally featured. We sell Gabbeh rugs from a range of countries, including Iran, Afghanistan and India, with piles ranging from approximately 8mm up to 25mm thick!
