Approximately 236 x 170 cm, this gabbeh features a warm orange field with simple, understated striping for a clean, minimal look. A versatile mid-size piece that works well in a living room seating area, under a small dining table, or beside a bed.

Gabbeh rugs are traditionally nomadic rugs, and feature very simple designs and patterns, often inspired by nature. It is not uncommon to see animals, people and trees scattered across these designs. The name 'Gabbeh' comes from the Persian word for raw/natural/uncut, and reflects the thick pile that these rugs traditionally featured. We sell Gabbeh rugs from a range of countries, including Iran, Afghanistan and India, with piles ranging from approximately 8mm up to 25mm thick!
