Approximately 269 x 79 cm runner with a simple gabbeh-inspired design, mostly red with subtle tonal variation and minimal detailing. A great size for a hallway or entrance, and also suitable along a kitchen galley or beside a bed.

Gabbeh rugs are traditionally nomadic rugs, and feature very simple designs and patterns, often inspired by nature. It is not uncommon to see animals, people and trees scattered across these designs. The name 'Gabbeh' comes from the Persian word for raw/natural/uncut, and reflects the thick pile that these rugs traditionally featured. We sell Gabbeh rugs from a range of countries, including Iran, Afghanistan and India, with piles ranging from approximately 8mm up to 25mm thick!
