An approx. 288 x 88 cm runner with a deep red field featuring repeating geometric medallions and small tribal motifs, accented with black and blue borders and details. Ideal for a hallway or entryway, or along a galley kitchen or corridor.

Kunduz rugs share similar colours and patterns to Khal Mohammadi rugs, but are of finer quality with tidy knotting and smooth, almost velvety pile. You will frequently see Kunduz rugs with a small section of flat-woven 'kilim' at either end, next to the fringes. They are hand-knotted in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan.
