An approximately 294 x 93 cm runner with a rich red field featuring repeating geometric motifs, framed by dark blue and near-black borders with small cream highlights. Its long, narrow size makes it well suited to a hallway or entry corridor, bringing warmth and a bold accent of color.

Kunduz rugs share similar colours and patterns to Khal Mohammadi rugs, but are of finer quality with tidy knotting and smooth, almost velvety pile. You will frequently see Kunduz rugs with a small section of flat-woven 'kilim' at either end, next to the fringes. They are hand-knotted in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan.
