Approximately 291 x 83 cm, this kazak runner shows a blue field with bold geometric medallions and hooked motifs, framed by patterned borders in red, cream, and touches of yellow. Its slim size makes it well suited for a hallway, entryway, or galley kitchen, adding lively pattern and color to the space.

Named after the city of Kazak (also spelt Qazax) in modern-day Azerbaijan, Kazak rugs feature distinctive geometric patterns, and are often red, cream, blue or gold in colour. Super Kazak rugs utilize similar designs, but are constructed with superior pile and a finer finish. Kazak rugs knotted in Afghanistan are often referred to as Afghan Ghazni.
