A large rug measuring approximately 293 x 202 cm, featuring a rich red field with repeating geometric guls and tidy borders accented with black details. Its generous size makes it ideal for anchoring a living room seating area or placing under a dining table.

Kunduz rugs share similar colours and patterns to Khal Mohammadi rugs, but are of finer quality with tidy knotting and smooth, almost velvety pile. You will frequently see Kunduz rugs with a small section of flat-woven 'kilim' at either end, next to the fringes. They are hand-knotted in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan.
