A large rug measuring approximately 270 x 195 cm, featuring a rich red field with repeating geometric motifs and a darker patterned border with subtle blue and black accents. Its generous size makes it well-suited to anchor a living room seating area.

Kunduz rugs share similar colours and patterns to Khal Mohammadi rugs, but are of finer quality with tidy knotting and smooth, almost velvety pile. You will frequently see Kunduz rugs with a small section of flat-woven 'kilim' at either end, next to the fringes. They are hand-knotted in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan.
