Approximately 292 cm x 197 cm, this rug features a rich red field with repeating geometric motifs and a defined border in darker accents, creating a bold, traditional look. Its proportions make it ideal for anchoring a medium-to-large living room.

Kunduz rugs share similar colours and patterns to Khal Mohammadi rugs, but are of finer quality with tidy knotting and smooth, almost velvety pile. You will frequently see Kunduz rugs with a small section of flat-woven 'kilim' at either end, next to the fringes. They are hand-knotted in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan.
