An approximately 283 cm x 200 cm rug with a rich red field featuring repeating geometric guls and medallion motifs, framed by patterned borders with dark accents. The red palette is highlighted with black and blue details for a bold, classic look. Its size makes it well suited to a living room seating area.

Kunduz rugs share similar colours and patterns to Khal Mohammadi rugs, but are of finer quality with tidy knotting and smooth, almost velvety pile. You will frequently see Kunduz rugs with a small section of flat-woven 'kilim' at either end, next to the fringes. They are hand-knotted in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan.
