Approximately 292 cm x 203 cm, this rug features a rich red field with repeating geometric medallions and a defined border, highlighted by black and blue accents. Its generous size makes it well-suited for a living room or placed under a dining table.

Kunduz rugs share similar colours and patterns to Khal Mohammadi rugs, but are of finer quality with tidy knotting and smooth, almost velvety pile. You will frequently see Kunduz rugs with a small section of flat-woven 'kilim' at either end, next to the fringes. They are hand-knotted in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan.
