Approximately 301 cm x 198 cm, this rug features a deep red field with repeating geometric guls and a detailed border in dark accents of black and blue, creating a bold, traditional look. Its generous size makes it ideal for a living room seating area, under a dining table, or in a spacious bedroom.

Kunduz rugs share similar colours and patterns to Khal Mohammadi rugs, but are of finer quality with tidy knotting and smooth, almost velvety pile. You will frequently see Kunduz rugs with a small section of flat-woven 'kilim' at either end, next to the fringes. They are hand-knotted in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan.
