Approximately 289 x 193 cm, this gabbeh features a simple, minimalist field in brown with subtle tonal variation. Its generous size suits a living room seating area or under a 6–8 seat dining table, adding warm, understated character indoors.

Gabbeh rugs are traditionally nomadic rugs, and feature very simple designs and patterns, often inspired by nature. It is not uncommon to see animals, people and trees scattered across these designs. The name 'Gabbeh' comes from the Persian word for raw/natural/uncut, and reflects the thick pile that these rugs traditionally featured. We sell Gabbeh rugs from a range of countries, including Iran, Afghanistan and India, with piles ranging from approximately 8mm up to 25mm thick!
