An approximately 285 cm x 201 cm rug featuring a rich red field with repeating geometric guls and a contrasting dark border, giving it a bold, classic look. Its generous size makes it well-suited for a living room, where it can anchor a seating area.

Kunduz rugs share similar colours and patterns to Khal Mohammadi rugs, but are of finer quality with tidy knotting and smooth, almost velvety pile. You will frequently see Kunduz rugs with a small section of flat-woven 'kilim' at either end, next to the fringes. They are hand-knotted in the Kunduz region of northern Afghanistan.
