This rug has had its pile trimmed especially short and has been stone-washed, in order to give it that classic, worn appearance. There is a small mark on this rug - pictures provided.

The name 'Chobi' (also spelt Chubi, Choobi, Choubi) is derived from the Persian word 'choob', which means 'wood'. This is because these rugs not only feature natural wood colours, but they are also dyed using natural vegetable dyes, including those derived from wood and bark.
