Approximately 240 cm x 154 cm, this gabbeh-style rug features a simple, understated design with a solid brown field and subtle tonal variations for a warm, minimalist look. Its medium–large footprint suits a living room seating area or a spacious bedroom.

Gabbeh rugs are traditionally nomadic rugs, and feature very simple designs and patterns, often inspired by nature. It is not uncommon to see animals, people and trees scattered across these designs. The name 'Gabbeh' comes from the Persian word for raw/natural/uncut, and reflects the thick pile that these rugs traditionally featured. We sell Gabbeh rugs from a range of countries, including Iran, Afghanistan and India, with piles ranging from approximately 8mm up to 25mm thick!
