Approximately 308 x 194 cm, this khurjeen-style rug features a bold medallion with banded, geometric motifs, led by a rich blue field with red, yellow and green accents. Its generous size makes it well suited to a living room, under a 6–8 seater dining table, or a spacious bedroom.

Khurjeen (also spelt Khorjeen) translates to 'saddle bag' in the Farsi language. Khurjeen rugs often utilisize the same geometric, striped patterns as what were used on saddle bags. Crafted with high quality hand-spun wool by the Turkmen and Hazara tribes in central/northern Afghanistan, and coloured with natural dyes, these rugs are beautfully intricate and sure to bring energy and colour into your space!
