Approximately 364 cm x 273 cm, this rug showcases khurjeen-style geometric stripe and panel motifs with a dominant blue ground accented by lively bands of red, yellow, and green. Its generous size makes it ideal for a large living room or open-plan lounge, and it also works well under a substantial dining table.

Khurjeen (also spelt Khorjeen) translates to 'saddle bag' in the Farsi language. Khurjeen rugs often utilisize the same geometric, striped patterns as what were used on saddle bags. Crafted with high quality hand-spun wool by the Turkmen and Hazara tribes in central/northern Afghanistan, and coloured with natural dyes, these rugs are beautfully intricate and sure to bring energy and colour into your space!
